Delicious and tender pumpkin pudding

Autumn is not only the time of the transfiguration of nature, pleasant coolness, cozy scarves and delicious hot tea. It is also a time of generous gifts of nature, one of which is a pumpkin. Externally, it is so bright and juicy that it seems to have absorbed all the power of nature over the summer, and is ready to replenish our body with useful vitamins for the whole autumn.

Light autumn dessert

Traditional recipes with this vegetable are found in the kitchens of many countries of the world. They will also be found among our dishes, which our great-grandmothers cooked in the oven. We suggest enjoying a wonderful aroma and a pleasant tender taste, by preparing pumpkin pudding.

For the first time it was cooked in England, where they simply mixed the leftover products and baked a cake. After it, they began to add various fruits and prepare sweet sauces. Today, this dessert is one of the main symbols of Christmas in the English.

For the simplest option, you only need a couple of ingredients:

  • pumpkin - 0.5 kg;
  • egg - 4 pieces;
  • sugar - 4 tbsp;
  • breadcrumbs - 3 tbsp;
  • butter;
  • cinnamon.

First you need to boil the orange "beauty" - cut it into cubes and cook until soft. Separate the whites from the yolks, whisk until a white foam appears and leave to the side. That the mass turned out to be aerial, there is a little secret - they should be cooled.

The flesh of the vegetable must be ground to a uniform state. The easiest way to do this with an immersion blender. But if such equipment was not in your home, you can use the old proven method and rub the pieces through a sieve.

In the resulting mass, add biscuits and mix thoroughly again. Put the yolks and butter (it should be soft), put the squirrels and mix again.

Deco or mold oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. In each pour the dough into 1/3 and send to the oven for 50 minutes. There the dessert will be baked at 150 degrees. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.

Recipe for multicooker

If you are a happy owner of useful household appliances, then in the slow cooker this recipe will work out without any hassle. For him you will need:

  • pumpkin puree - 250 g;
  • apple - 1 pc;
  • egg - 1 pc;
  • milk - 200 ml;
  • semolina - 20 g;
  • honey - 20 g

How to cook such a treat? You need to start with the orange queen of autumn. It must be cleaned, cut into small cubes, pour milk and cook until ready. Then drain half the liquid, add to the vegetable semolina, honey and grated apples. Boil a little and let cool.

Meanwhile, beat the egg, pour it into the finished mashed potatoes. Mix thoroughly and, putting multicookers in the bowl, put the bake in the "Baking" mode for 40 minutes.
