As a rule, all browsers by default save downloaded files to the “My Downloads” folder or simply “Downloads”, which is automatically created for each user of the operating system. Usually the folder for storing downloads is located in the user profile directory. In Windows XP, you can find it at “C: \ Documents and Settings \ Username \ My Documents \ Downloads”. In Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8, the “Downloads” folder is usually located at “C: \ Users \ Username \ Downloads”. As a rule, it is added to the Favorites panel in Explorer, so just open any folder and click the "Downloads" link in the left part of the window.
How to open downloads in Internet Explorer
You can open “My Downloads” right through the browser. In Internet Explorer, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the window and select “View downloads” from the menu that appears, then click on the folder name in the “Location” column.You can also click the “Open folder” button in the message that appears below immediately after the download is completed. In older versions of IE, instead of such a message, a download window appears in which there is also a “Open folder” button.

To open downloads in Firefox, click on the icon in the form of a wide downward arrow next to the address bar and click on the icon in the form of a folder opposite the name of the downloaded file. Also, the download panel can be accessed via the Tools> Downloads menu, which can be viewed by pressing the [Alt] key. In the window that appears, click on the folder icon to open the folder with the downloaded files.

In Google Chrome, after downloading the file, a line appears at the bottom of the window, in which you can click the arrow next to the file name and select the "Show in folder" option. The download page can also be accessed from the menu - click on the button of three horizontal bars in the upper right corner and select the “Downloads” item. How to open downloads in Yandex Browser
In Yandex Browser, click on the narrow downward arrow in the right corner of the window to expand the downloads bar,then click on the arrow next to the file name and select "Show in folder".
