Oatmeal with carrots and caramel

You will need

  • - 5 tablespoons of oatmeal;
  • - 1 orange;
  • - 2 tablespoons of brown sugar;
  • - 30 grams of butter;
  • - 150 milliliters of boiled water.
First you need to properly prepare the carrots for juice. Vegetable thoroughly washed, cleaned, and then cut into small circles. Next, using a carrot juicer, you need to squeeze the juice, without throwing out the cake.
Next, peel is carefully removed from the orange, and juice is also squeezed from the pulp. Get about 100 milliliters. Zest does not need to throw out.
In a separate saucepan, mix orange and carrot juice and carrot cake, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, zest and boiled water. At the last moment oatmeal is added to the mixture. The whole mass should be infused for 12-15 minutes.
Next, put the mixture on the fire, bring it to a boil, then remove from the heat and let it brew for another 15 minutes.
At this time, the remaining carrot must be cut into slices, put in a pan and add butter. When the butter is melted, add to the mass the remaining 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of boiled water.
