Tip 2: How to cook a hodgepodge with prunes

You will need
  • - minced meat - about 350 g;
  • - Any meat products (sausages, ham, pork or sausage) - about 250 g;
  • - 3 medium sized pickles;
  • - hot red pepper - pinch;
  • - salt, bay leaf;
  • - 1 egg;
  • - breadcrumbs - about 25 g;
  • - 4 large potatoes;
  • - tomato paste - 10 g.
Wash the potatoes and peel, cut into any cubes and put in a pan with cold water. Put the pan on the fire and boil the potatoes for about 10 minutes, periodically removing the foam.
Mix the minced meat with breadcrumbs, raw egg and salt with pepper. Knead the mixture to a state of uniformity and form round small meatballs from it.
Chop onions and fry until golden in vegetable oil. Then add the chopped meat products (sausage, ham, sausages) to the onions and brown the whole well.
Grate salted cucumbers or cut into small cubes. Add cucumbers to the pan along with the tomato paste.Pepper to taste and simmer for 1-2 minutes, cover the pan with a lid.
Dip the meatballs from the mince in a saucepan with potatoes and, as soon as they float to the surface, add ready-made vegetable frying to the pan.
Boil all together for another 10-15 minutes, turning down the heat and covering the pan with a lid. To taste the dish, season with salt, red pepper and, if desired, add bay leaf.
Serve a hot solyanka to the table with thinly sliced ​​lemon, fresh herbs and olives (capers).
